It's Your Day - New workshop

I love CTMH cards kit. They are even more fun when you bling them up! I designed this workshop for a workshop that I will be holding next month. It will be on August 14th at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church in Pensacola at 6:30 p.m. After the class we will crop until midnight. We will be making 12 birthday cards, all pimped up with liquid glass, Liquid applique and Prisma Glitter! (Love that glitter). We will also be making a card holder to organize all of your handmade creations. The cost of the workshop is $25.00 and includes all supplies. Email me ASAP to reserve your spot. Not local??? No problem, I can mail a kit to you! Just add $5.00 shipping to the cost of the kit. Hope to see you in class

Tina

Don't count the cards in the group photo. I already used two of the twelve cards. Shhh... I'll make more this weekend. Just remember in class, y ou will complete 12 cards! This photo does not do the cards justice. They are darn cute in person!

We will be making a card box to hold your creations. There will be five dividers for each box!

Dumpster Diving

At the end of the Atlanta Expo, I am very sad to announce that one of the vendors, DUMPED all their left over products in a dumpster! To make matters worse, they poured paint all over the products to prevent others from taking their product and using it. I feel that this is so sad, because the products could have been donated to a church or a school! It just seems so wasteful.

Do you really think a little paint a dumpster can stop scrapbookers? The photos below tell the story of what happened next!

Tina

I have a feeling that there will be some happy children learning to scrapbook in the very near future!

Atlanta Expo, so much FUN!

I am home from Atlanta and all I can say is "WOW... what a good time!" I sure am tired but it is a good tired. I just love Atlanta as the people in that town are so fun and so friendly! I can't wait to go back! Atlanta's southern hospitality is the best. I thought I would share a few photos of the weekend. Enjoy!

Atlanta Bound- Scrapbook Expo... HOTLANTA HERE I COME!

I leave for Atlanta ( I mean Hotlanta) today. Why do I call it Hotlanta? It's a hot city, with hot people and HOT SCRAPBOOKERS!

I will be at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth this weekend. I'm so excited. I have been doing this show for about 7 years now and I always look forward to it. The people in Atlanta are so nice and full of southern hospitality. And... I will get to do what I love to do. Teach people how to scrapbook. If you are in the area, please stop by our booth and say hello! I would love to see you.

Tina

The photo above is Suzy Q- a team member teaching layouts at our booth last year! We will be teaching 5 different awesome $5.00 layouts. FUN, FUN, FUN!

I will be back in the office on Monday!

Bella, Bella, Bella

I love Bella. The colors in this kit are beautiful. I have used this kit quite a bit and I just LOVE IT!

I would like to take credit for this artwork but all I did was JUST ADD PHOTOS! My dear friend and team member Barb Carrico made this art board. Barb is a very talented artist, who frets over every detail of her work. Because of her attention to detail she produces AMAZING art. I am very lucky that I have some of her art. I wanted to share with all of you! Enjoy!

Fourth Of July Layouts

I love the Fourth of July and everything that the holiday stands for! I love my country and my freedom!

This year we spent the fourth on our boat and with some friends. I had fun taking photos of all the festivities, even though my camera battery died before the fireworks. (Can you imagine?) I made a few layouts from the day, that I thought I would share. Enjoy!

Firework hugs,
Tina

This layout really sparkles, even though you can't see it in the photo. The word July is made from our dimensional elements. The letters are sponged in Sunflower and then "glittered" using our prisma glitter. The photo really does not show it justice. If you click on the photo it should enlarge it and you will be able to see the details a little better.

It's fun turning 29

My birthday was June 20th. It is so fun turning 29. I got home from vacation yesterday and my mailbox was filled with cards from friends. I thought I would share their beautiful artwork!

The card to my left is from Jeanette Lynton (founder of Close To My Heart and the corporate staff)! Isn't it beautiful? I am so lucky to work for such an awesome company that remembers holidays, and birthdays. This card was made from the Wishes How To Program and Bella Paper. Love it, love it, love it! And it even sparkles. SUCH FUN!

The cards on the right were made by special friends and team members. The birthday cupcake card is from Barb, the Tickled Pink Flower card is from my friend Doressa, and the Butterfly card is from Cathy. My friends are so talented. What awesome artwork they created!

I am so blessed to have such special people in my life. It is fun turning 29! Big Hugs,

Tina

Happy Birthday Kent, Happy Birthday Tina, Happy Anniversary Kent and Tina

Yes, you read it right. It is a busy week in the Sutton household. It started on June 20th, Kent's Birthday. June 21st was my birthday. June 27th is our anniversary. WOW! Our tradition is to try to take a vacation during our special week. This year we are celebraiting in Seaside Florida! We celebrated our birthdays by riding our bikes, riding our wave runners and going to the beach! Who could ask for anything more!

I don't have any photos to post. I forgot my camera battery. Can you imagnine? I am using my Iphone camera but I don't have any way to download them from here.

I am out of the office until June 28th. I have limited email access so if you need me, please shoot me an email.

Off to the beach...

Sandcastles and Sand

I love living on the Gulf coast (except during hurricane season)! Living in paradise, everyone comes to visit. This past weekend, my dear cousin Lisa came to vacation in Orange Beach for a week! Lisa and I grew up together! As youngin's we spent endless summers together at my childhood beach house. It is amazing how things change when we grow up. Life happens and we get busy. I haven't seen Lisa in 15 years but when she came to visit, we jumped in the jeep and spent all day Sunday at the beach. We had so much fun, laughed at our warped family jokes, reminisced about our childhood and just enjoyed being together. Lisa is like a sister to me, and I love her so much. I wanted to share our weekend photos! I can't wait to scrapbook them! I'm not sure when I will see Lisa again, but I know it won't be 15 years!!!!

Lisa and her husband Don, her Daughter Taylor and Taylor's best friend, Jillian!

Color Me Monday- Hollyhock in Bloom

I took Jeanette Lynton's Color Me Monday combination and made this Congratulations card for the newest director on my team... Valarie Moore. I love Jeanette's color combinations. They make me think outside of the box. When I use her color combinations, and our How To Books- (Wishes or Originals)- card making becomes effortless. I am so excited.

I would like to take a minute to WOOHOOO Valarie Moore. Valarie has been an incredible team member who works so hard on her business. Last year, she earned the the Mediterranean Cruise and this year she will be earning either New Zealand or the Caribbean Cruise. I am so proud of her. Becoming a Director has been a big goal for Valarie and she just MADE it! Just in time for Leadership 2009. Congratulations Valarie... I am so proud of you.
