Long Beach, California

I am having a blast in California. I have been up almost 24 hours but it's all good. Today, Barb and I found a great Mexican Resturant!
Boy have I missed the mexican food here! Did I say YUM! After we had a yummy lunch, we cruised the town, did some shopping and went to Walmart to buy Chocolate for Chocolate Universtiy (my team training day). The Walmart here is diffenet than any other Walmart I have ever seen. I couldn't help it... I had to post a
photo. Love the look of it- the palm trees make a
statement!

Mile High Online Club??? Can I start one?

I can't believe it. I am on my way to California for CTMH Leadeship Conference. I am blogging!!! WOW, this is almost as exciting as viewing a new CTMH Catalog! Boy has technology come a long way. I remember when I was in graduate school- (I majored in Educational Technology) and I signed up for my first email account. I remember sufring the internet for the first time, and not knowing what to do. Now, I sit in a metal tube at 34,000 feet and I am online and BLOGGING! Unbelievable!

I am so excited for my trip to California! CTMH has wondeful training events and I am thankful to be attending yet another one. Watch out, I tend to come home from these events wound up and fired up! I'll be ready to set the world on fire with CTMH!

I will update when I can. I look forward to seeing many of my team mates as well as CTMH Friends in sunny California. FUN, FUN, FUN! I can't believe I get paid for this job. LUCKY ME!

Flyin' High.... and blogging....

Animal Encounters

Kent is off from work every other Friday due to his company having a flex schedule. Yesterday, happened to be his day off. Both of our work schedules have been insane this week so we decided to take an afternoon break and take the dogs and our boat out for an spin. A normal boating trip, turned into our own private excursion.

The weather was so clear, and the water was calm. We were cruisin' along when all of a sudden, Kent quickly turned the boat around. We were shocked to see this beautiful sea turtle cruisin' the bay. I have lived in Florida for 32 years off and on and have NEVER seen a sea turtle in the bay. Luckily, I had my camera. It was magical watching this beautiful animal swim along! I can't believe I actually captured such a good photo of him. Even the dogs sat in awe and watched Mr. Sea Turtle swim along.

After we left the turtle, we cruised to Crab Island and Destin Harbor. As we arrived, we saw the dolphin boats. We zoomed over and the dolphins were giving their afternoon performance. We watched the dolphins swim for almost a half an hour. They played with us, swam next to the boat, and jumped. There were two babies that we saw and they were so active. One was doing flips, jumping and just having a good time. I love the photo that I captured with Daisy watching the dolphin encounter!.

I am so lucky to live on the Emerald Coast. The magic in the beach and water is undescribable. What wonderful memories I have of an ordinary afternoon. Life is good!

Off to the scrapbook room. I have layouts to do!

Have a great weekend!

A Mouse In The House (Well Garage Actually)

We had an unexpected visitor this morning. Kent got up, went to the garage to get the extra bag of dog food in the garage and this is what we found... a mouse in the house! Of course, it was drama in the Sutton household this morning. I had a wake up call to "GET UP, GET UP... MOUSE IN THE HOUSE" ! (can't you just hear it?) I have to admitMr. Mouse was so darn cute. I didn't have the heart to kill him. We have woods behind our house so we released him as far away as we could. The dogs had a feast of turkey for breakfast, and I am going to the pet store at 10:00 a.m. Never a dull moment at the Sutton Household!

Happy Snail Mail

I checked my mailbox this morning and was so happy to find this darling card and Starbucks Card from a downline of mine who I have been mentoring the last few months- Tonya McCrary. I was so surprised and so tickled to receive it. She wrote the sweetest note and the card was so me... circles and flamingos! What a thoughtful gesture.

For those of you who don't know Tonya, she is a darling gal from Tennessee! She is working hard to get her business going strong. (http://tonyamccrary.myctmh.com) She is very talented and I know she will be quite successful with CTMH! I am so proud of the progress she is making in growing her business!

Thank you Tonya... you made my day!

Tidewater Yacht Club

I live in an awesome neighborhood. We have wonderful friends and wonderful neighbors. We even have our own private so called Yacht Club. (Don't look too close, the largest yacht is under 20 feet). Joe, (our designated admiral) organized a floatilla of 5 boats that made the trek from Navarre to Crab Island (Destin, Florida) this past weekend. We ended the day with a shrimp boil and Kent was the "mess" cook. What fun! I smell more scrapbooking pages. Enjoy the slideshow!

We will also be making a card holder to organize all of your handmade creations. The cost of the workshop is $25.00 and includes all supplies. Email me ASAP to reserve your spot. Not local??? No problem, I can mail a kit to you! Just add $5.00 shipping to the cost of the kit. Hope to see you in class

Tina

Dumpster Diving

At the end of the Atlanta Expo, I am very sad to announce that one of the vendors, DUMPED all their left over products in a dumpster! To make matters worse, they poured paint all over the products to prevent others from taking their product and using it. I feel that this is so sad, because the products could have been donated to a church or a school! It just seems so wasteful.

Do you really think a little paint a dumpster can stop scrapbookers? The photos below tell the story of what happened next!

Tina

I have a feeling that there will be some happy children learning to scrapbook in the very near future!

Atlanta Expo, so much FUN!

I am home from Atlanta and all I can say is "WOW... what a good time!" I sure am tired but it is a good tired. I just love Atlanta as the people in that town are so fun and so friendly! I can't wait to go back! Atlanta's southern hospitality is the best. I thought I would share a few photos of the weekend. Enjoy!

Atlanta Bound- Scrapbook Expo... HOTLANTA HERE I COME!

I leave for Atlanta ( I mean Hotlanta) today. Why do I call it Hotlanta? It's a hot city, with hot people and HOT SCRAPBOOKERS!

I will be at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth this weekend. I'm so excited. I have been doing this show for about 7 years now and I always look forward to it. The people in Atlanta are so nice and full of southern hospitality. And... I will get to do what I love to do. Teach people how to scrapbook. If you are in the area, please stop by our booth and say hello! I would love to see you.

Tina

The photo above is Suzy Q- a team member teaching layouts at our booth last year! We will be teaching 5 different awesome $5.00 layouts. FUN, FUN, FUN!

I will be back in the office on Monday!

Bella, Bella, Bella

I love Bella. The colors in this kit are beautiful. I have used this kit quite a bit and I just LOVE IT!

I would like to take credit for this artwork but all I did was JUST ADD PHOTOS! My dear friend and team member Barb Carrico made this art board. Barb is a very talented artist, who frets over every detail of her work. Because of her attention to detail she produces AMAZING art. I am very lucky that I have some of her art. I wanted to share with all of you! Enjoy!

Fourth Of July Layouts

I love the Fourth of July and everything that the holiday stands for! I love my country and my freedom!

This year we spent the fourth on our boat and with some friends. I had fun taking photos of all the festivities, even though my camera battery died before the fireworks. (Can you imagine?) I made a few layouts from the day, that I thought I would share. Enjoy!

Firework hugs,
Tina

This layout really sparkles, even though you can't see it in the photo. The word July is made from our dimensional elements. The letters are sponged in Sunflower and then "glittered" using our prisma glitter. The photo really does not show it justice. If you click on the photo it should enlarge it and you will be able to see the details a little better.
